Quanterm Logistics Fleet Added 10 Units of Hino Reefer Trucks

Shah Alam, 8 May 2022 – Quanterm Logistics Sdn Bhd recently collected all 10 units of reefer trucks from Hino Motor Sales Malaysia. The total 10 units involved four units of light-duty commercial vehicle (LCV) HINO 300 Series Pro XZC730, four units of medium-heavy duty commercial vehicle (MCV) HINO 500 Series GH8JR1A, and two units of prime movers HINO 500 Series SG2PE1B. Held at Quanterm Logistics’ head, the handover ceremony was attended by both companies’ top management members.

To ensure each element in the supply chain cycle is tailored to the customer’s business requirements, a strong and seamless transportation line is an important pillar for Quanterm Logistics. With the newly added trucks, Quanterm is serving customers mainly from the FMCG, who need to transport goods that require temperature-controlled, along with the need for high reliability in terms of hygiene and safety. With the certification gained in halal, GDPMD, and ISO 9001:2005, Quanterm can deliver the service at the required standards.

 

Quanterm Logistics is Supporting their Customers’ Demand in Cold Chain Logistics

The demand for cold chain logistics has increased significantly. Quanterm Logistics has decided to take one step further to invest in the reefer trucks to fulfil the requirements of their customers. 

Speaking at the event, Quanterm Logistics Managing Director, John Tay Chong Yen said, “The newly purchased trucks from Hino are already on the road now fulfilling the order by our existing customers. We are certainly looking into the plan to invest more if the demand is increasing.

“This is our first-time partnering with Hino and we believe with Hino’s unpreceded commitment to us, we would certainly further enhance our partnership with Hino in the future,” he added.

Quanterm Logistics Attended the Training by HMSM

Quanterm Logistics has registered its fleet supervisors and drivers to attend the training at Hino Total Support Customer Center (HTSCC) in Sendayan. Through this training, drivers will be given intensive courses that focus on driver safety, eco-cien driving, and driver familiarisation.
