Shah Alam, 17 February 2023 - Quanterm Logistics organized a year-end campaign last year (“Anyone Can Be Santa”) to spread kindness and raise awareness with our social media page followers. The participant can make a wish to deliver gifts to any society they named it. Quanterm has chosen three winners, and recently, the team has fulfilled the wishes.
We have delivered some dry food, including rice, cooking oil, biscuits, face mask, noodle, etc., to the Kechara Soup Kitchen to support their Food Bank program. Recipients of this program are poor families, where most of them are senior citizens, disabled (OKU and families with many dependents.
Kechara Soup Kitchen strives to reduce homelessness, hunger, poverty, and food wastage and work towards a better quality of life for the underprivileged in Malaysia.
The representatives of Quanterm have delivered the essential items to the Kechara Food Bank station at Setapak Jaya. " Although the supply we delivered is not in a huge amount, we are glad that we can be part of the contributors and help those needed," the Head of Marketing said.
Another location the team dropped by is the Rumah Amal Budi Bistari, an orphanage center where they take care of around 40 children from 7-9 years old. Quanterm has prepared a set of gifts consisting of school shoes, a bag, and a water bottle for the children. The chosen winner wished to bring some excitement to the children and to bring the message of feeling blessed for being able to study and learn.
Mercy Malaysia is another NGO to which we have contributed our donation as one of the participants wishes to help the flood victims in Malaysia. Mercy Malaysia has been responding to the disaster in both the east coast and east Malaysia by providing basic health necessities – primary health services, ready-to-eat meals, hygiene kits, and other services.
